This White Sangria Recipe comes together fast with just a few ingredients and is so perfect for entertaining – refreshing, delicious, and so easy to make!

Beside how easy sangria recipes are to make, the other thing I truly love about them is that they are meant to be shared.

I made this white sangria for my neighbors for our first book club meeting. It is refreshing, and perfect for a summer’s day. White Sangria is a backbone fall back recipe – once you learn it, you can take all sorts of great twists on it.

And you have a guest coming over who loves red wine, make them my Red Sangria!

WHITE SANGRIA INGREDIENTS

This white sangria recipe is made with vodka and it could not be more simple.

  • Start out with a white wine that you love. I used a Pinot Grigio, and the gentle sweetness of it paired perfectly the other ingredients.
  • Next, citrus vodka. I really like Eddy’s Lemon Vodka. It is sweet, without being over powering.
  • Add some orange liqueur. I love using Cointreau.
  • Then add simple syrup. Taste the recipe before adding simple syrup. If it is sweet enough without it for you, skip it. You can always put it on the side if your book club friends like their drinks sweeter.
  • Finally, fresh fruit! For this, I used fresh oranges, lemons, raspberries, and sliced strawberries.

WHAT ALCOHOL TO USE

As mentioned above, I went with a citrus vodka for this recipe, but that’s not a hard fast rule.

You could also use Brandy or Rum and it would work great in this recipe.

TIPS & TRICKS

Though this recipe is so easy, there are a few things that help it out a little bit.

  1. Add only half the simple syrup to start. You can leave the rest on the side for guests to sweeten their drink (as suggested above).
  2. Chill for at least an hour. This drink is best cold.
  3. Buy extra fruit for serving. If you let this sit overnight the fruit will deteriorate. Buy extra for glasses that will look fresh and beautiful.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

If you are hosting a party, here are some recipes that would be perfect with this.

This Charcuterie Board can be all you need to offer your guests! Its super satisfying!

I’m obsessed with making Baked Brie for guests. So easy and good!

  • 750 ml Pinot Grigio (or other white wine you like)
  • 1/2 cup citrus vodka (I love the sweetness Eddy’s Lemon Vodka adds)
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, see note)
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • Mix together all of the liquid ingredients.

  • Add in the fruit.  Let chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour, or up to 10 hours.

  • Serve cold.

The type of wine and vodka you use will greatly change the sweetness of this recipe.  Additionally, sweetness in a cocktail is such a personal taste. I would mix all the liquid ingredients and then taste to decide if you need to use all, part, or none of the simple syrup.

A White Wine Peach Sangria with Vodka To Quench Your Summer Thirst...

A fruity white wine sangria is always high on the list of cool and refreshing summer favorites. You’ll enjoy pouring this white wine peach sangria with vodka for all your balmy summery soirées (or maybe just sip it poolside). It’s my favorite thing to drink on a nice summer evening… If you love a simple, crisp, white wine sangria like I do, let this easy peachy mango pitcher drink quench your thirst all summer long.

This fruity sangria is a simple and refreshing mix of peach juice, fresh mint, and juicy mango chunks. Stir up big splashes of chilled white wine and toss in fresh peach slices for this simple refreshing peach mango sangria.

I feel like sangria is my idea of a punch type cocktail for the summertime. It’s a delicious and easy mixture of sweetened wine and fresh fruit with a little extra oomph from added spirits. Always a crowd pleaser…

Plus, the simple dry white wine you’ll use for this sangria (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc) typically boasts notes of fresh stone fruit. So the the fruity mango and peach flavors complement each other wonderfully!

Make white wine peach sangria with vodka

In a pitcher, pour a bottle dry white wine such as Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. Splash in peach juice or peach nectar.

I highly recommend Simply Peach juice. It’s light, fresh-tasting and not overly thick or heavy. It’s what I use for this refreshing peach sangria whenever I make it for my guests and it comes out perfect every time.

The peach nectar will most likely be sweeter than the peach juice I used here, so be sure to just adjust the sweetness by tasting as you go along if you purchase the nectar instead.

Add Citrus and Vodka to white wine peach sangria

Now add a little freshly squeezed lemon juice, and for a little added ‘oomph’ splash in some vodka! I see a lot of recipes use peach brandy, peach schnapps or other peachy type sweeter liqueur. It all works deliciously, but I wanted to really keep this recipe simple and make a lighter sangria. I skipped the sweet liqueurs and opted for a good quality vodka. It keeps the sugar content a little lower and still tastes amazing, light, and refreshing. Any nice organic or sustainable vodka would be a great addition to the mix.

Add Fresh Mint and Cubed Fruit To your White Wine Peach Sangria

To serve, slice or cube some fresh mango and ripe peach. Grab your glasses and fill them with ice.

Top your iced glasses with cubed fruit and pour this simple refreshing white wine sangria. It will be dotted with lots of fresh fruit and make a stunning lighter sangria you can enjoy on its own or with food!

Garnish with sprigs of fresh mint and enjoy on a warm sunny day!

If you’re in need of a fun and chic serving set for a tasty pitcher cocktail like this, try this one! It’s simple, elegant, and perfect for everyday sipping!

Enjoy this refreshing white wine sangria for a crowd! Serve it up chilled right away or store refrigerated for up to 5 days.

I promise you’ll love this slightly lighter take on summer sangria and really enjoy the fruity vibes that fresh mango and peach bring to the table. Mint just makes everything sooo cool and refreshing….

You could even finish it off by splashing in some sparkling water or top off with a little Prosecco or sparkling wine, if you’d prefer a fizzier finish!

I would top off each glass individually at then end if doing this. Sometimes dumping carbonated/sparkling drinks into the pitcher releases all their fizz and the bubbles fade away. This is a gentler way to incorporate them.

What’s your favorite sangria? Do you prefer classic red sangria? Try this frozen cocktail that tastes just like it!!! If you try this summery white wine peach sangria with vodka, let me know in the comments below and be sure to tell me what your favorite batch cocktail is! Summer just isn’t summer without a round of glasses clinking! Here’s to sipping good things with good friends.

Salud!

    White Sangria - Cooking Palette

July 5, 2018 Nina Fomina **CUISINES OF THE WORLD, *SUMMER, SPANISH CUISINE, DRINKS, HOLIDAYS

Last Friday was hot. Above thirty. Friday is usually a grocery day for me - I go for groceries. The heat and luxurious tomatoes that I saw in the store gave me an idea: instead of the traditional pizza for this day, I decided to have a cold dinner. Serve salami, prosciutto, cheeses, melons, figs, pickled chickpeas, three types of luxurious aromatic tomatoes (red, yellow and green), olives, fresh bread and crackers. And instead of wine, I'll make sangria. It's perfect for a hot day. Yes, let's have a sangria party.

To tell the truth, I am not a fan of this drink - I almost always prefer a glass of pure wine, without any additives. But sometimes, very rarely, it suddenly seems that there is nothing better than a glass of cold fragrant sangria.

Inexpensive wine is also suitable for making sangria. The amount of sugar depends on the quality of the wine, fruit, and personal taste. I add quite a bit of vodka to white sangria - believe me, this noticeably changes the drink for the better. Use fruits and berries based on personal preference and season. My favorites: apple, peach or nectarine, plum, lemon, orange, lime, grape. Sometimes, rather for beauty, I add blueberries or cranberries.

If you want to make your drink milder, top up the pitcher with neutral-tasting carbonated mineral water (Pellegrino type) before serving. I just put a lot of ice in a jug. The ice not only keeps the sangria cold, but also gradually reduces the degree, which is good for the summer heat.

Sangria apple, peach and plum slices were also good with the cheeses I served for dinner. The leftover fruit worked perfectly as part of the steak side dish the next day.

Try my sangria recipe. He's great. For the summer, gatherings in the country, a bachelorette party - that's it.

    Cook with pleasure!
